French brand Neopulse reinvents oral hygiene with portable, high-performance products and an anti-obsolescence approach.

Founded in 2019, the French brand Neopulse has set out to transform the oral hygiene routine of families into a simple, effective, and long-lasting experience. Faced with the observation of often incomplete hygiene in France, the company focuses on two pillars: interdental cleaning, a crucial step often overlooked, and high-performance electric brushing thanks to sonic technology.

Expertise serving innovation

Behind Neopulse are two experts from the health sector. Charlotte Grégoire, with twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry serving major brands, and Henri Grolleau, a specialist in oral health with fifteen years at leaders like Dented and Waterpik. Together, they have combined their skills to design a range of devices meeting user expectations and health professional recommendations.

Passionate about innovation, Henri Grolleau develops product prototypes using 3D printing and his computer-aided design training. “Imagining precise and simple solutions, in line with dentists’ concrete expectations, is at the heart of my approach for Neopulse,” he emphasizes. The brand now benefits from the support of over 500 dentists and dental assistants and is distributed in over 1000 points of sale in France.

Sonic technology for the whole family

Neopulse has chosen sonic technology, based on ultra-fast vibrations (from 30,000 to 50,000 per minute) generating vertical movements. This method effectively dislodges dental plaque while respecting gum sensitivity. The range is designed to accompany every family member throughout life stages.

The NEOSONIC brush for adults stands out for its record three-month autonomy, fifteen customizable settings, and bristle wear indicator. For younger users, NEOKIDS, tested by pediatric dentists, transforms brushing into a fun moment with over fifty stickers provided for personalization. Lastly, NEOBABY introduces toddlers to dental care from the first tooth appearance with micro-vibration technology and a lighted head. “As a parent, I see every day how small rituals, like interdental flushing and adapted brushing, can make a difference: thanks to these preventive actions, my children have never had cavities,” shares Charlotte Grégoire.

Interdental hygiene, a major health issue

According to specialists, brushing alone cleans only 60% of tooth surfaces, leaving dental plaque to accumulate in interdental spaces. To address this challenge, Neopulse offers a range of dental jets, like the ultra-compact MY FIRST model and the family EASY model, which remove food debris and plaque in inaccessible areas. Additionally, the NEOPICK dental floss, with a biodegradable handle made of cornstarch, provides an eco-responsible solution to enhance cleaning and prevent cavities, bleeding, and bad breath.

A commitment against planned obsolescence

Against the trend of disposability, Neopulse anchors its strategy in sustainability. The company has established its repair workshop in the Paris region, in Versailles, where devices, even out of warranty, can be repaired at an advantageous rate. Spare parts are also available to extend the products’ lifespan.

Innovative in its sector, Neopulse is the first French brand to offer a range of reconditioned oral hygiene devices, providing an economical and ecological alternative. Each reconditioned device undergoes a rigorous control process, ensuring hygiene and performance identical to those of a new product. This commitment is reflected even in the accessories, with minimalist packaging and bio-sourced inks, asserting a desire to reduce environmental impact at every stage.
