The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating a close call incident involving a Frontier Airlines jet at Los Angeles International Airport. The jet narrowly avoided colliding with two trucks on a taxiway, prompting the pilot to slam on the brakes. No injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred just weeks after a deadly crash at LaGuardia Airport. Aviation safety expert Steve Arroyo pointed out that such close calls are common but usually go unnoticed due to successful collision avoidance.
