Nolan Binet, who plays for USBCO in Ligue 2, is the pride of his training club and is inspiring the youth.

Founded in 1898, US Boulogne Côte d’Opale is a emblematic club of Northern football. After several years of rebuilding in lower divisions, they returned to Ligue 2 in 2025. A new chapter begins for the club and its players, including Nolan Binet, a young talent developed at US Conques. His solid journey was built with patience and determination.

Nolan Binet’s journey into football began when his parents moved near Carcassonne in 2004. Coming from a family of footballers, they chose Conques club due to its reputation and proximity. Starting at the age of 4, he followed his older brother Erwan initially.

His training journey included nine years at US Conques until U13, followed by a season at Castelnaudary before joining Béziers for sports-studies football. Five decisive years were spent there, first with the youth team and then the U19s, before transitioning to the senior level.

Moving to Istres for two seasons helped Nolan settle into adult football, experiencing a memorable climb from National 3 to National 2 collectively.

Scouted by US Boulogne Côte d’Opale, Nolan signed with the club in 2025. The club’s strong values, ambition in Ligue 2, and passionate fan base influenced his decision positively.

While the primary goal is maintaining the team, Nolan aims higher without setting limits. He focuses on utilizing his strengths for the team’s benefit while following instructions on the field.

Despite the financial aspect, Nolan’s passion drives him in football. His current goal is to establish himself at this demanding level and continue evolving in the sport.

Quotes from USBCO Boulogne coach Fabien Dagneaux and US Conques president Henri Montespan reflect pride and admiration for Nolan’s development and success.
