Vergeze-Espace will host, this Friday, January 27th, at 8:30 pm, the theater play “Du charbon dans les veines”. Awarded with five Molières in 2025 (best private theater show, Jean-Philippe Daguerre best director and best author, best supporting actress for Raphaëlle Cambray, and best female revelation for Juliette Behar) and proposed by the cultural service, it offers a humane dive into the daily life of coal miners in 1958, in Nîmes-les-Mines, a small mining town in northern France.

Pierre and Vlad are the two best friends in the world. Inseparable, they share all their time digging in the mine, raising carrier pigeons, and playing the accordion in the local orchestra. From the day Leila, the pretty girl, joins the orchestra to play the accordion, the world of the two best friends will never be the same.

After “Adieu Monsieur Haffmann”, Jean-Philippe Daguerre returns with this new theatrical creation, portraying fraternity and humanity.

    For all audiences aged 11 and above. Tickets: Tel. 04 66 35 80 08 or 04 66 35 80 39. Email: culture.communication@vergeze.fr.
