In a vitriolic outburst of “482 words,” Donald Trump lashed out at his critics Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly, and Alex Jones on his social network, Truth Social, on April 9, as reported by The New York Times. In this message aimed at these influencers and podcasters from the Maga camp (short for “Make America Great Again”), the White House tenant did not hold back insults and personal attacks, stating:

“They all have one thing in common: a very low IQ. They are stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone knows it!”

While the differences between the American president and these conservative influencers have been simmering for some time, particularly since the start of the military operation “Fury Epic” in Iran, it was Trump’s threats against Iran on April 7 that pushed things over the edge.

Taking back control of the Maga movement, influencer Candace Owens wrote on platform X: “Donald Trump is a genocidal maniac, our Congress and our military must intervene. We have exceeded the limits of madness.” Candace Owens, along with podcaster Alex Jones, have even joined those “calling for the removal of Donald Trump under the 25th Amendment of the US Constitution,” which allows for the declaration of the president as unfit and the transfer of power to the vice president, as reported by the New York daily.

As USA Today points out, by harshly targeting these media personalities, Donald Trump is trying to quell the unrest within the Maga camp before it escalates. Indeed, in his tirade, the White House tenant emphasizes that “the bulk of the Maga movement’s troops are on his side” and accuses these conservative influencers of “seeking publicity at the expense of others.”
