The entertainment ecosystem led by Cha Ga Won is going through a deep crisis, marked by allegations of non-payment, contract violations, and financial opacity. Following fraud accusations against the CEO, many artists from labels One Hundred, Big Planet Made, and INB100 have left their activities, accentuating internal instability.
According to Daum, singers Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin filed legal documents at the end of March, announcing the termination of their exclusive contracts with the company. The artists stated that they had repeatedly asked for clarifications on payment issues but received no satisfactory responses, leading them to make the decision to leave.

Previously, they were also involved in a contractual dispute with SM Entertainment in 2023 regarding revenue transparency.
It’s not just the three former EXO members; the wave of artist departures has extended to many others. Singer Taemin also terminated his contract with Big Planet Made after nearly two years. Apart from financial issues, it seems that Cha Ga Won signed an external contract without Taemin’s agreement.

The group VIVIZ announced the termination of its contract with Big Planet Made, effective March 4, citing the company’s failure to meet payment obligations and ensure adequate management.
Legal representatives stated that payment delays have been ongoing since late 2025, and many projects, such as album releases, have been canceled. Additionally, some operational expenses had to be covered by the members themselves.
It is noted that most members of The Boyz have also terminated their contracts with One Hundred through their legal representatives, citing serious contractual breaches and loss of trust.
According to the artists, they did not receive detailed payment reports for an extended period, while their basic working conditions, such as transportation, accommodation, and rehearsal spaces, were reduced or disrupted, directly affecting their schedules.

Furthermore, it was confirmed that actor Lee Seung Gi also notified the termination of his contract with Big Planet Made at the end of March. His legal representatives stated that this decision followed a breach of the company’s contractual obligations, especially regarding payment and management.
Faced with the exodus of many artists, the company stated that it is working to stabilize the situation and resolve issues through negotiation. However, the crisis worsened when Cha Ga Won was accused of misappropriating around 30 billion wons (over 500 billion dongs). Authorities suspect her of exploiting the artists’ fame to solicit commercial partnerships, receiving advances without fulfilling obligations.

A series of scandals, ranging from financial disputes to judicial investigations, are plunging this ecosystem into its most difficult phase since its creation.
