This ambitious project, which will span four years, aims to discover and analyze the helium potential in the French territory. In parallel, it aims to deepen the understanding of the geological systems linked to this strategic gas, essential for the country’s energy future. BRGM plays a key role as the coordinator of this project, collaborating with academic partners such as the Institute of Earth Sciences in Orléans and ISTerre. The involvement of companies like Geolinks and 45-8 Energy demonstrates industrial commitment in this field. 45-8 Energy will contribute with its technological expertise, notably by providing advanced equipment for the analysis and monitoring of the gases present. Additionally, its scientific know-how will be valuable in exploration drilling operations.
