Eurobiomed, a competitiveness cluster dedicated to Healthtech, is supporting the University Hospital of Nîmes to promote its medical innovation. A framework agreement was signed in May 2025, which formalizes the partnership.
It is a significant regional healthcare player. Based in Marseille, Eurobiomed carries out its activities throughout Occitanie, including at the Nîmes hospital. “Since our creation, the University Hospital has been involved in the structure. The original intention was to create a bridge between public research, the hospital world, and companies innovating in healthcare,” explained Emilie Royere, director of the Eurobiomed competitiveness cluster in Occitanie and Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur (Paca).
Strengthened by the framework agreement, the partnership now revolves around three main components. The first involves highlighting the strengths of the hospital through the organization of a national event in Nîmes, with the latest edition focusing on medical robotics. This promotion work also extends to industrial partners. When there is a request for collaborative or clinical research, Eurobiomed directs them to the University Hospital.
