In a statement made on Monday night, Donald Trump warned that the entire country could be destroyed in one night. He extended his deadline to Tuesday, 8:00 pm, threatening massive targeting of Iranian bridges and energy infrastructure if a ceasefire is not reached. Trump urged Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz in an unusual message on his social network. Iranian authorities criticized Trump’s rhetoric as ineffective.

Israel’s ambassador to France, Joshua Zarka, anticipates increased strikes against Iran. He stated that more investment is planned for military operations and believes it will take two more weeks to complete all military targets. Zarka did not condemn Trump’s remarks, emphasizing the importance of clear communication by world leaders.

Zarka still hopes to overthrow the Iranian regime but doubts their willingness for diplomatic solutions. In Lebanon, Israel continues military operations to neutralize Hezbollah’s military capabilities until they stop attacking. Zarka dismissed France’s mediation offer, blaming the failure on France’s critical stance towards Israel, creating a challenging crisis between the two countries.

The tension is not solely due to France’s recognition of Palestine but also a series of decisions that went against US and Israeli war efforts, such as denying US airspace access for the Iran war.
