A particularly insulting and obscenity-laden message was published by American President Donald Trump on Sunday directed towards Iran, sparking criticism from US officials, including Chuck Schumer, the Senate Democratic minority leader.

“Open the f**ing Strait of Hormuz, you bstards, or you will live in Hell – YOU WILL SEE! Glory to Allah,” Trump’s message read.

While Trump is known for his blunt rhetoric, this particular post on his Truth Social platform raised eyebrows, especially on Easter Sunday.

The message prompted reactions from both Democrats and Republicans, with Senator Chris Murphy calling Trump’s behavior “completely and totally insane.”

Democratic Senator Tim Kaine suggested considering the 25th amendment, allowing for a power transfer if the president is unable to govern.

These condemnations were not limited to Democrats, as former Trump-supporting Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized Trump’s comments, urging Christians in his administration to intervene. Conversely, conservative influencer Laura Loomer celebrated Trump’s message, advocating for bombing jihadists back to the Stone Age.

Other figures, like Chuck Schumer and Tim Kaine, also expressed their dismay at Trump’s rhetoric, highlighting the lack of a clear plan in the administration’s approach to war.

While Trump’s message stirred controversy, it was met with approval from some, like Laura Loomer, who praised Trump’s tough stance on Iran.
