On Thursday, March 20, students from the Cinema and Audiovisual option at Germaine Tillion high school presented their 8th edition of the CLAP session: Audiovisual Programming Classes, in collaboration with Vincent Choquet and Denys Clabaut from Véo Cinémas. The first and final year students debated and chose a movie they wanted to show to the public, and their choice fell on “La Petite Dernière” (Hafsia Herzi, 2025), a film that won awards at Cannes and the Césars. The second year students then selected a short film they thought would be complementary for screening just before, which turned out to be the very surprising “But Why Did You Leave the Horse Alone?” (Faouzi Bensaïdi, 2023).

With more than 40 spectators, this session confirms the success of this program that is not even 3 years old, offering a programming that is both demanding and popular. The magic of cinema with this intense film allowed everyone to escape. It left no one indifferent and fits perfectly with the annual theme of the option: the encounter. The next CLAP session will be on Friday, May 29 in the evening, with a public and free screening of this year’s productions just before. We look forward to seeing many of you there!
