Vueling, the airline belonging to the IAG group, continues to improve the customer experience with the launch of a new in-flight entertainment service. The digital portal is accessible directly from the clients’ personal devices and offers movies, series, as well as a range of useful features throughout the flight, all entirely free.
The platform is now available on more than half of the company’s fleet and operates via a direct connection to the aircraft’s onboard server, meaning it does not require Wi-Fi or an external connection.
Through this portal, customers can enjoy a selection of entertainment content that will be updated seasonally. The current catalog includes 18 films for all audiences and 23 episodes spread across 12 TV series.
Additionally, the portal offers an interactive 3D map to track the flight route in real-time. Customers can also access the menu and onboard store, where they can view the available meals, drinks, and products during the flight.
The portal also provides direct access to GetYourGuide, allowing customers to discover activities, excursions, and experiences at the destination. It also includes information about Vueling’s network, sustainability initiatives, and customer support services.
This new service, provided by Viasat, complements the existing Wi-Fi connectivity already available on a large part of the company’s fleet, which includes 15 minutes of free Internet access for customers.
