This puts pressure on Lens, who will face Lille on Saturday in a tense North derby.
After the match, Lucas Hernandez set the tone: the focus is now on the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool, taking place on Wednesday at Parc des Princes. No misplaced confidence, but a sense of being well-prepared.
“We knew it wouldn’t be an easy game after the break. We have players who returned yesterday. But we are all confident, we are looking forward to the (Liverpool) match.
