For its 15th anniversary season, “The Voice” is pulling out all the stops. This Saturday, an additional coach will join the panel for what is being touted as “a world first.” We’ve got all the details!

It’s been five weeks since Lara Fabian, Amel Bent, Florent Pagny, and Tayc, the new addition to the group, have been vying for contestants during the 15th season of “The Voice.” The production has planned a multitude of surprises to spice up the competition! From the addition of secret weapons, blocks (and unblocks), to the photobooth offered by Tayc to talents joining his team, familiar faces from the show’s history like Mika, who tricked Florent Pagny, Amir, Linh, and Claudio Capéo, reminisced about the good old days at the Lendit studios. In terms of casting, viewers have seen former talents from “The Voice Kids,” the brother of a famous singer, and even a former “Star Academy” finalist!

The biggest novelty of the season, however, only arrives in the 6th week of the show. This Saturday night on TF1, “The Voice” will present a “world first”: co-coaches from the blind auditions onwards! Specifically, four former coaches of the program will come to assist Florent Pagny, Lara Fabian, Tayc, and Amel Bent for four evenings. The identity of the first guest was revealed in the trailer that concluded the last episode. “Please make some noise for my superstar… Matt Pokora!” exclaimed Amel Bent excitedly, as she hugged her friend. But how will this unprecedented process materialize?

The coach who led Lisandro Cuxi to victory in 2017 will sit directly next to Amel Bent, but they will only have one buzzer. This means that the two artists will have to harmonize before triggering it! The production of “The Voice” has apparently retrieved the double seat in which Bigflo and Oli operated during two seasons for this unique mechanic that will last until April 25th. The three other coaches will also benefit from this boost.

In the upcoming episodes, Kendji Girac will assist Tayc, while Louis Bertignac will make a grand return to “The Voice” after 12 years to help Lara Fabian make her choices. “I’ve loved him forever,” marvels the singer. Lastly, Florent Pagny will welcome his close friend Zazie: “She’s been my buddy for a long time, and it’s always extraordinary in the arguing. I know she won’t be lost.” The coaches’ goal remains the same: to assemble the best team possible for the next stage, the groups.
