The Renée-Bonnet high school shines on the international stage. During the prestigious “Gastroerasmus” competition, held from March 27 to 29 in Antalya, Turkey, the Toulouse establishment won three gold medals, confirming the excellence of its training in gastronomy and hotel management.
Facing candidates from many countries, students Mathias Lechevalier, Aelys Barrau in terminal class of professional culinary arts baccalaureate, and Chloé Vergne in culinary CAP demonstrated remarkable expertise, combining creativity, technical rigor, and respect for culinary traditions. The highly demanding tests covered several disciplines: gastronomic cuisine, pastry, and artistic presentation of dishes. The international jury praised the exceptional quality of the young French students’ creations, highlighting their mastery of techniques, their sense of innovation, and their ability to enhance products.
These three gold medals reward the hard work of the students, as well as the commitment of their teachers, who guided and prepared them with rigor and passion. The candidates benefited from the supervision of François Bataille, a cooking teacher, and Naceira Ghilaci, an English teacher, throughout this beautiful international adventure.
For Renée Bonnet high school, this success is a real source of pride and enhances its reputation beyond borders. It also demonstrates the dynamism and influence of French vocational training internationally. This victory will undoubtedly inspire future generations of students to pursue the path of excellence.
