Twenty years after the victory at the Stade de France, AS Nancy-Lorraine is reuniting with OGC Nice for a historic celebration. Despite administrative delays, the authorities have approved this gala match scheduled for April 18. An unique opportunity to honor the heroes of 2006 at Marcel Picot.

The Marcel Picot stadium is getting ready to resonate with nostalgia. Two decades after lifting the Coupe de la Ligue, former players of the AS Nancy Lorraine club are putting on their boots for a memorable match against OGC Nice. While approval from the prefectural services and the city council was delayed due to recent incidents in the stands, the event is now officially confirmed for Saturday, April 18, with kick-off at 6 pm.

This prestigious event, orchestrated by former striker Moncef Zerka and Farid Harrous, will take place the day after hosting Annecy in the championship. On the field, the public will see iconic faces such as Pape Diakhaté, Fred Biancalani, Cédric Lécluse, Adrian Sarkisian, Olivier Sorin, among others, coming together to commemorate the success of April 22, 2006.

Opposing them, an equally prestigious delegation from Nice will be present. More than just a friendly match, this collective jubilee promises a communion between different generations of Nancy supporters and their legends.
