Robin Sen Gupta was supposed to become a French professor in Lille, following his mother’s footsteps, but a back injury during grape harvesting in Champagne in 2003 changed his path. He met the singer of Les Blaireaux, who was also harvesting grapes, and that encounter led him to become a concert producer. As Robin Sen Gupta often says, “The day before working in music, I didn’t know I would work in music.”

Twenty-three years later, Le Terrier Productions, a symbolic offshoot of Les Blaireaux, continues to thrive as a concert and live music show entrepreneur, a natural phenomenon when trying to do things right.

The company has a unique feature. Among the twenty artists it regularly presents in Hauts-de-France and throughout France, it focuses on supporting local artists in a kind of musical short circuit, such as Marcel et son orchestre, a prominent alternative rock group from Nord-Pas-de-Calais, the duo Picon mon amour, and even Les Cop(i)nes, a group from the Basque Country who approached them, as stated by Robin Sen Gupta.

Context: Robin Sen Gupta shifted from a path to becoming a French professor to becoming a concert producer due to an encounter during grape harvesting. Fact Check: Le Terrier Productions continues to thrive after 23 years, emphasizing local artists in its lineup.
