It was a bustling day on Saturday, March 28 in the morning at Lavières, in Brottes. Under the leadership of its rugby school manager, Maxime Jeanpierre, ECAC organized a rugby school league tournament for the U8, U10, and U11 categories.

The event brought together 230 young rugby players, along with around fifty educators, on three fields. Eight clubs participated in this league tournament. “The tournament consisted of a group stage and then a final phase for the playoffs,” explained Maxime Jeanpierre.

At home, the ECAC’s young players performed well, with the U12s reaching the third spot on the podium. The U8s and U10s finished in 5th and 4th place, respectively.

“The day went very smoothly except for the weather. We had to shorten the duration of the finals. Throughout the morning, the atmosphere was friendly,” said Maxime Jeanpierre.

The Chaumont club and its rugby school manager, Maxime Jeanpierre, are ready to repeat the success and score again.
