Regional 2
Bayonne’s Croisés continue their winning streak with a seventh consecutive victory. Trailing at halftime against Andernos, Marc Le Moël’s proteges turned the tables with Iralour and Blangy (2-1) to stay just behind leader La Brède. Further down, Anglet’s Genêts reserve team notches a nice win over Porte-Entre-Deux-Mers (2-0, Sarr, Petrau). “A logical victory that fully rewards the group’s efforts,” delighted Sébastien Camiade stated.
In pool F, Saint-Pierre-d’Irube wins the top match against Stade Montois, a direct rival for promotion to R1 (2-0, Etcheverry, Fonteny). “We’ve been feeling a very positive dynamic internally for some time now,” Xavier Lagouanelle hopes. Lower down, Tarnos suffers an early blow with their goalkeeper Bacque’s expulsion after just eight minutes of play. Playing with ten against eleven, Vincent Saüt’s players are defeated by Doazit, a lower-ranking team (0-2).
Regional 3
Boucau continues their good streak at the top of pool J with a win against Coqs Rouges (2-1, Maubaret, Gabarrus). Yoan Lamothe’s players maintain a five-point lead over second-placed Cazaux (with a three-point penalty at the end of the season) and eight points over Biarritz, who did the job at home against Cenon B (4-0, Crepiat and Magnes’ hat-trick). A bit lower, despite leading in the scoreline (Gravaud, Duhalde), Ustaritz settled for a draw against Saint-Martin-de-Seignanx (2-2). Saint-Pierre-d’Irube’s reserve team loses to their counterparts from Saint-Médard-en-Jalles (1-5, Ancel).
