On the 30th day of the war in the Middle East, images showed soldiers arriving as reinforcements. Iran accuses the United States of secretly planning a ground offensive.

Defense in action by Iran. Tsahal targeted several electric installations on Sunday, March 29. Power was cut off in Tehran and its surroundings. The Israeli army says it is striking targets related to the mullahs’ regime throughout the Iranian capital. At the same time, American troops are approaching the Strait of Hormuz. Since Friday, 3,500 marines and soldiers have arrived in the Middle East with an amphibious assault ship.

Donald Trump continues to sow doubt about an intervention on Iranian soil, but for Iran, it is no longer in doubt: “The enemy is publicly sending messages of negotiation and dialogue while secretly planning a ground offensive,” said Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the president of the Iranian Parliament.

On Sunday, March 30, Iranians shot down an American plane known as Awacs in a Saudi base, specializing in airspace control. Iranian authorities also threaten to target the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea. The Revolutionary Guards launched their 86th wave of missiles at American and Israeli targets in the region. One of their debris hit an industrial zone in southern Israel this afternoon. This is also a response to the attack on the University of Science and Technology in Tehran on Saturday, March 28. Isfahan was reportedly hit on Sunday by Americans and Israelis.

Iran threatens to retaliate. As a precaution, in Lebanon, the American University of Beirut has decided to conduct classes online for the next two days. In the southern part of the country, the Israeli forces continue to advance against Hezbollah. “In Lebanon, I have ordered to further expand the existing security zone to definitively neutralize the invasion threat and move away anti-tank missile fire from the border,” said Benjamin Netanyahu.

At the same time, some Gulf countries are trying to end this war. Discussions began on Sunday between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey. They will continue on Monday, March 30.
