Akdital shows strong growth in 2025, driven by its rapid expansion in Morocco and initiates a new strategic phase with its international deployment.

The Akdital group confirms its positioning in private healthcare in Morocco, with financial indicators significantly improving in 2025. The revenue reached 4.41 billion dirhams, up by 49% from the previous year, while the net profit stood at 494 million dirhams (+42%).

This performance, according to Ilyas El Harti, the general manager, is attributed to the increasing number of new facilities and cost control: “This evolution was made possible by the start of operations of projects opened in 2024 and 2025, as well as effective management of operational and structural costs.”

The group’s EBITDA rose to 1.21 billion dirhams (+45%), reflecting improved profitability amid sustained growth. Investments totaled 2.22 billion dirhams for the year, with 589 million earmarked for international development. This expansion strategy includes increased borrowing, resulting in a net debt of 4.27 billion dirhams, compared to 1.75 billion the previous year, especially after a bond issuance of 1.2 billion dirhams.

Operationally, the group continues rapid territorial expansion. By the end of 2025, Akdital had 41 facilities in 24 cities, with a total capacity of 4,505 beds, up from 3,706 the previous year. Eight new structures were opened in 2025, allowing the group to be present in all regions of the Kingdom.

This expansion is accompanied by a rise in medical activities. The group recorded over 1.1 million admissions in 2025, a 71% increase. This growth emphasizes strengthened local presence, as 62% of patients were treated outside the Casablanca-Rabat axis.

From a medical perspective, the group conducted 3,323 cardiovascular surgeries and over 10,000 coronary dilations. They also welcomed 31,217 newborns, accounting for nearly 5.8% of the national total.

Beyond the domestic market, Akdital is entering a new phase with its international strategy. Named “Akdital World,” this plan includes expansion into the Middle East and North Africa, with projects underway in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia. A 200-bed hospital is being built in Dubai, while an acquisition operation is ongoing in Tunisia for an estimated $90 million.

The stated goal is clear: achieve 35% of revenue internationally by 2030. “We have paved the way internationally with about ten hospitals in three countries, which will significantly contribute to the group’s future revenues,” highlights Ilyas El Harti.

In Morocco, the group aims to continue its expansion, targeting over 60 facilities and a capacity of 6,000 beds in the medium term, particularly in smaller cities.
