The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has received information about some suspicions related to ensuring scientific integrity in the National Competition of Scientific and Technological Research for secondary school students (middle and high school) during the school year 2025-2026.
This is an open competition; therefore, post-competition examination and verification are one of the important tasks of the organizing committee to ensure objectivity, transparency, and compliance with regulations.
Currently, the Ministry of Education and Training has instructed the relevant units to coordinate with the organizing committee, the jury, and the relevant organizations and individuals to investigate, verify, and clarify the reported issues.
Based on the results of the examination and verification, if violations are detected, the Ministry of Education and Training and the organizing committee of the competition will review and handle them strictly in accordance with Circular No. 24/2025/TT-BGD&”T amending and supplementing a number of articles of the regulations of the national competition of scientific and technological research for secondary school students, as well as other relevant legal regulations; ensuring the principles of objectivity, fairness, transparency, and seriousness.
The Ministry of Education and Training will continue to provide regular updates to the press once an official conclusion is reached.
