The association “Au fil du temps” recently organized a trip to Cransac featuring a day of discovery. The guided tour at the Cransac museum, focusing on Memories and Thermalism, allowed participants to learn about the history and development of the “thermal city” which later became “Cransac-les-Mines” and then evolved into “Cransac-les-Thermes” up to the present day. This visit was very informative and interesting. After being treated to a delicious stockfish meal at the restaurant “Les Carillons”, the visitors toured the thermal spa. This well-known and unique thermal establishment in Europe offers treatments for rheumatism, rehabilitation, and wellness, thanks to the naturally warm gases escaping from the mountain. The spa is located in an idyllic green setting surrounded by a robinia forest conducive to relaxation and tranquility for a rejuvenating experience. It was a beautiful and enlightening day for all the participants during the association’s first outing.
