Lieutenant Le The Quang, deputy head of technical department at Factory X61 and project leader, presented the product in more detail: “The visor of the MV-5M has been completely redesigned for ergonomics. The chin area has been expanded by 2.5 cm for better protection, ensuring perfect coordination with skin protection equipment and preventing any risk of neck exposure. The contact pads have been redesigned with a peripheral edge, improving seal and comfort. The device also includes additional attachment points for a water dispenser and its cover, meeting the requirements of prolonged combat operations. Additionally, the next-generation filter cartridge has been optimized: more compact, lighter (less than 250 g), and offering improved breathing resistance (less than 15 mmH2O), ensuring soldiers’ comfort while providing optimal filtration.”
