On Sunday, April 5, 2026, Kalapca Loisirs will organize the 4th edition of the Solidarity Nature Sport Challenge. The 2026 edition focuses on inclusion and commitment.

This event has become well-established in Lot, bringing together amateur athletes, nature enthusiasts, and local stakeholders with the common goal of using sports as a tool for solidarity.

The previous edition marked a turning point: the 2025 edition of the Solidarity Nature Sport Challenge received the Event Trophy at the regional professional event fair, recognizing its commitment to the local community and solidarity.

For the Departmental Committee of Adapted Sports of Lot: In 2025, 3,287 euros were donated to the beneficiary association, Refuge Canin Lotois. Over the years, thousands of euros have been redistributed to local organizations through this event. This year, all proceeds will go to the Departmental Committee of Adapted Sports of Lot, which works to enable individuals with mental or psychological disabilities to participate in sports in a structured, inclusive, and empowering environment.

Like every year, the Challenge will offer a course with a mix of natural disciplines, including trail running, canoeing, orienteering, mountain bike skills, slacklining, a surprise event organized by the beneficiary association, and a choice between a Via ferrata with rappelling or archery and climbing. The format promotes teamwork, self-improvement, and camaraderie.

A challenge on Easter weekend: As the Challenge takes place on Easter weekend, an Easter egg hunt will be organized for the children of participating families. It will be a fun and friendly moment, in line with the Kalapca spirit, where everyone—both young and old—can find their place in this solidarity event.

Alongside the Challenge, Aequita’vie, based in Caniac-du-Causse, will offer two carriage rides (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) upon specific registration. This additional proposal is gentle and accessible, aligning with the inclusive spirit of this edition.

The Solidarity Nature Sport Challenge mobilizes volunteers, local partners, businesses, families, and athletes each year to share a different day. More than just a sports event, it is a catalytic moment where nature becomes a platform for engagement.

Practical information: Sunday, April 5, at the Kalapca Loisirs base in Bouziès. Registration on Chronostart, by phone at 07 84 29 07 23, or by email at [email protected]. More information on the website www.kalapca.com.
