Bruce Springsteen, Bernie Sanders, and Jane Fonda appeared at the rally in Minneapolis, where tens of thousands also marched through Times Square in NYC and past the Lincoln Memorial in D.C.

Musician Bruce Springsteen performed at a protest called “No Kings” outside the State Capitol building in St Paul, Minnesota on March 28, 2026. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz also spoke at the event.

According to organizers, this is the third round of protests against the Trump administration under the banner of “No Kings.” It is expected to be the largest day of protest in the country’s history. The movement has gained momentum following the immigration crackdown by the Trump administration, particularly in Minnesota after two American citizens were shot by ICE agents in January.

Notably, President Trump and Vice President JD Vance have not yet commented on the ongoing protests. They have previously dismissed similar “No Kings” rallies, with Trump even referring to them as a “joke.”

The previous two rounds of protests attracted an estimated 5 to 7 million participants. Organizers anticipate even higher turnout for Saturday’s events.
