“One out of two people cannot charge their electric car at home because they do not have a parking space to install a charging station. It is therefore important that their businesses offer them this possibility,” Eric Kopf emphasizes persistently.
Action, reaction. The start-up Electric Oasis, of which he is the technical director, offers companies – and only companies – very easy-to-install modular charging stations.
A secure system And for good reason! It does not require any civil engineering work. For example, the installation of a 60-space equipment at the electricity site in Strasbourg at Mundolsheim only required nine days of operation.
Another major advantage of this system: it allows for the addition of modules based on the evolution of the vehicle fleet to be powered. It also facilitates and secures communication between the charging stations and the vehicles by complying with the ISO 15118 standard.
Located in Haguenau, Electric Oasis was founded in 2023. It includes former employees of Hager among its ranks.
The jury decided to award it the trophy for Technological Innovation, but it could also have been a recipient of the prize in the categories of Start-ups and Young Enterprises or Environmental Innovation.”
