Not a thank you to the LFP. Present at the press conference the day before the match against Colombia, Didier Deschamps announced a slight modification of the schedule that will take the Blues on the road to the World Cup. The much-awaited announcement of the list of players called up for the tournament will indeed be postponed by 24 hours and will take place on Thursday, May 14 in the evening. The 1998 world champion will reveal the 25 or 26 happy ones during the TF1 8pm broadcast.
When Lens-PSG overshadows the Blues
The French internationals will therefore have to wait one more day to hope to hear the coach pronounce their name. The reason? The postponement of the clash between Lens and PSG, now scheduled for May 13, the date originally planned for DD’s big televised interview. The Blues will then play two more friendly matches before flying to America: on June 4 in Nantes against Ivory Coast, then on June 8 in Lille against an opponent yet to be determined.
Unless PSG manages to fit in their match against Lorient, sandwiched between their two potential Champions League semi-finals?
