The government triggers aid in response to rising fuel prices. In France, faced with rising fuel prices for a month, the executive has unveiled initial measures to help certain sectors: an aid of 20 cents per liter of fuel in April for fishermen, SMEs and VSEs, and an exemption from tax on non-road diesel (GNR) for agriculture. The total cost of these aids is estimated at several tens of millions of euros.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio indicated on Friday that the United States expects the end of operations in Iran within “the next two weeks”, specifying that his country could still achieve its goals without troops on the ground.
