The concert “Decibels” took place recently at the Marne hall in Quint-Fonsegrives. Through an original sound that combines the Fender Rhodes piano and double bass, the duo formed by Christophe Lier and Joël Trolonge revisited compositions by jazz musician Thelonious Monk. “La Baronne” also pays tribute to Nica de Koenigswarter, who was a great figure and protector of jazz musicians in the 1950s.

The audience, who came in large numbers to attend this performance, was able to appreciate the repertoire of the famous composer. A beautiful atmosphere added a special touch to the stage (colored lamps on the floor, oriental rugs). For over an hour, the musicians captivated the audience with the quality of their playing and interpretations.
