On March 28, 2026, the association Swing 22 from Plémet, near Loudéac (Côtes-d’Armor), is organizing a special evening.
Featuring one of the largest jazz groups: Paris Swing Orchestra.
Founded in 1997, the Paris Swing Orchestra has become a recognized institution at both national and international levels.
According to Swing 22 members in Plémet, the group is thanks to the Swing 22 team, composed of Martine Chevaucherie, president and wife of musician Gilles Chevaucherie, Yvon Rolland, Sylviane Lozac’h, Mireille Treussard and Michelle Roncin.
Passionate about jazz, the Paris Swing Orchestra’s repertoire revolves around iconic pieces from the most famous “big bands” of that era: Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Django Reinhardt.
The orchestra is sought after by major Parisian jazz clubs, at Maison de la Radio, at most festivals, and abroad in New Zealand, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium.
On Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 8:30 PM, at the town hall in Plémet (Côtes-d’Armor), the Paris Swing Orchestra will perform. Tickets are available in Plémet at local bakeries, Au Rendez-vous des Cyclos and Super U, and in Loudéac at La Plume d’Or and L’Histoire sans fin bookstores. Entry fee: €20.
