The Souillac Golf & Country Club hosted its Grand Prix, bringing together 70 players from all over France. This federal competition, counting towards the amateur ranking, took place over two days of play on March 14 and 15, in sunny conditions.

Annaëlle Bouchet emerged as the winner among the women with a total score of 183. Among the men, Mael Onfray (amateur) and Ugo Soularue (pro) shared the first place, both with a total of 153.

Beyond the sporting aspect, this event was an opportunity for many participants to discover the Souillac Golf & Country Club course, located in Lachapelle-Auzac, as well as the destination as a whole. Between game times and moments of exchange, this weekend fostered meetings and conviviality, essential elements of golfing life.

The organization of this Grand Prix is part of the club’s desire to develop its competitive offering and strengthen its attractiveness to amateur players on a national scale. The success of this first edition already encourages the Souillac Golf & Country Club to establish this event in the long term, with the ambition of making it an annual must-attend event.
