The 35th edition of the Science Festival will take place in Isère and throughout France from October 2 to 12, 2026 on the national theme “Savvy Flavors”. In this article, we offer you resources to organize a Science Festival event related to this enchanting theme.

Reminders about the Science Festival

  • At least one event date must fall between October 2 and 12 inclusive (the official dates of the Science Festival).
  • The event must be free to facilitate access to a wider audience.
  • The event must offer quality scientific content through suitable mediation for the targeted audiences.

Researchers, higher education actors, amateur circles, cultural actors, student or popular education associations, companies, students, teachers, libraries, museums, curious minds… we invite you to showcase your activities and offer the public animations, exhibitions, conferences, workshops, shows, etc., illustrating the relationships between science and society. The diversity of project leaders contributes to the richness and success of this event!

Need inspiration on the theme

Check out the cultural and artistic works related to the theme of nutrition. The list will be updated based on contributions.

Even though exploring the links between science, cuisine, taste, and nutrition is the focus, the theme is not mandatory. Projects should display creativity and scientific rigor.

Creating your event

To present an event as part of the Science Festival, projects (exhibitions and workshops) must be registered on the national platform. Follow the guide for registering an event on the platform. Registration must be done before May 20 (platform closing date).
